Rather than pressing cartridges into the magazine individually, the Sovereign helps streamline the loading process for the range, competition, training, or workbench.

The Sovereign 5.56 is designed for cartridges using the standard AR-15 magazine platform, including:

  • 5.56×45 NATO
  • .223 Remington
  • .300 Blackout

Compatibility may vary with unusual cartridge profiles, specialty ammunition, or non-standard magazines.

We cannot guarantee compatibility with low quality non-domestically manufactured ammunition.

The Sovereign is designed around common AR-15 pattern magazines and is designed to work with both polymer and metal mags.

No. The Sovereign is a loading tool. It does not store ammunition for use in a firearm and is not a replacement for a magazine. The sovereign does not attach to or interface with the weapon.

No. Magazines, ammunition, and any other pictured accessories are not included unless specifically stated in the product listing.

Cartridges are staged in the Sovereign and then transferred into a compatible magazine using the integrated sliding mechanism. The design reduces the repetitive thumb pressure normally involved in loading magazines one cartridge at a time.

The main body is injection molded using traditional manufacturing techniques, rather than 3D printed. The slide is produced using FDM additive manufacturing from ASA.

This hybrid manufacturing approach allows MangaBerry to use the manufacturing method best suited to each component rather than forcing the entire product into a single process.

When used correctly with compatible ammunition and magazines, the Sovereign is designed to load cartridges without damaging them. Do not force the mechanism if excessive resistance is encountered.

Unusual resistance can indicate improper cartridge positioning, an incompatible ammunition, debris, or another obstruction that should be corrected before continuing.

Stop rather than forcing it. Check that:

  • Cartridges are positioned correctly.
  • The magazine is properly seated.
  • Nothing is obstructing the loading path.
  • The loader and magazine are free of dirt or debris.

If the problem continues, contact us for assistance.

For normal use, wipe the loader clean with a soft cloth and remove loose dirt or debris from the loading surfaces and slide path.

Avoid harsh solvents, excessive heat, or cleaning chemicals that may damage plastic components or potentially get in your gun.

Lubrication of any kind is not necessary, and using them is not recommended. Applying oils or other lubricants can attract dirt and residue.

If you are experiencing abnormal resistance, inspect and clean the loader before adding any lubricant.
